Qualitative Approaches to Counseling and Psychological Research
Jet Buenconsejo took his Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology with Academic Distinction at Colegio de San Juan de Letran in Intramuros, Manila. Presently, he is a researcher, the Student Research Coordinator, and the Managing Editor of Antorcha, the official student research publication of the Letran. He is also a part-time instructor of the Psychology Department of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences of the said institution.
Jet completed his Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology from Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City where he is also involved in research projects related to parenting, adolescent decision-making, as well as risk-taking behaviors. Jet recently passed the psychologist licensure examination last October 28th and 29th where he placed Top 3 among successful examinees.
As a full-time researcher, he has presented in various conferences and fora. He has also published two qualitative studies in local and international journals. He is currently working on two research projects related to Positive Youth Development (PYD) and Mental Health. Jetís research interests include the Psychology of Religion and Spirituality, Positive Psychology, and Parenting.
